Guilty Pleasures

This fall I made this bag for my Aunt Michelle.

As a Thank you, Aunt Michelle sent me a gift of appreciation.

An iFit Scale....hmmm.....

Yup, I could use one.

But when I opened it, it revealed the reason for my needing the scale!!

I really chuckled at the irony!!

Thanks for the gift... It really made me laugh!!

I have started on the SS(Scrap Squad) quilt assignment.

I have been hacking,

And whacking

And stacking for the past couple of days.

I have a double deadline....

We are off to Florida for 2 weeks

AND

this quilt needs to be done by February 8,2013.

I really want to get it done and get it to Terry's while were are gone.

There are a TON of HST's in this quilt.

I am doing them as per the instructions(rare.. I know!).

This is how I save some time.

If you overlap the corners as you sew them....

you can make a cut between the sections....

and remove the dogears.....

Which results in....

a pile of HST's

a bunch of little dogears.

I think I am on track to finish this before Monday.

One of these is not like the other....

but I caught it!!

I better get to it!!

    1. I didn't realize that hedgehogs were Canadian. They are chocolate truffles with creamy chocolate in the centers. If you put one on the scale it would read 100% fat!!!Delic!!
