Round and Round We Go..

Welcome......

if you're new to my blog!!
Sew Sisters Quilt Shop is holding a Blogathon of Canadian Quilters!!

Sew Sisters Blog

Heather from Love,Peace,Quilt is hosting for Saskatchewan Quilters

Be sure to sneak over there and check out some of our province's amazing quilters!!

I hope you ENJOY!!

This project was off to a shaky start as many of you already know

I should refer to it as the Million Dollar Quilt!!

(To read about that..... click HERE)

But as I complete each month....

I am loving it more and more....

It is amazing to see a quilt come to life.....

one bite at a time.....

I am at the half way mark...

Month 6 - Applique

I have not mastered needle turn...

Not sure I ever will be able to!!

So I am going with fusible....

Soft Fuse is a product I purchased at Houston Quilt Festival

Much like Misty Fuse but with backing

It's really nice and light!

This is the first of 3 series of corners...

I think Dawson likes what she sees....

This quilt will come with quite a story by the time it's done!!

Thanks for stopping by!!

Christa

  4. Christa,
I have a few of the Judy Niemeyer patterns but have never made them. They are all so beautiful and your Sedona Star is glorious. Such wonderful colors and great piecing. It is indeed going to be and heirloom quilt.
Thanks for participating in the blog hop. It really is so much fun to see what some other Canadian quilters are creating across our fair country.
    Regards from Alberta,

  7. So beautiful, Christa, and Dawson is such a good dog to just look at it. My dog would run across it, grab one of the pieces and take off. See you tomorrow!
