Spring is in the Air

You know spring is here when babies are every where!!
We stopped in at the Gillies to see their baby lambs

Nothing cuter!!!

We almost took this little girl and her 2 sisters home!!

ALMOST!!

Their miniature mare had just foaled this little filly!!

It is also time to look for a new bull for our own herd.

It always makes me chuckle when I go to a bull auction.

I am obviously not wearing enough western bling
 as the ring men
seemed shocked when Justin or I put up our hands to bid.

Got to start going to these sales with a little more dirt on our faces!

I personally can think of a lot better things to do with 6000 bucks
but
this is what you get for that kind of money.

I finished the wedding ring quilt for Justin's friend.

Justin wanted to look at it on the clothesline.

I said good luck with that!!

The wind has been crazy these days!

It was tough to get a good picture with a flimsy that has not been quilted yet!

The center will have a 'V' quilted on it

I had enough to make two pillowcases.

I just love Kate Spain's Horizon fabric.

This technique is not my favorite way to make a wedding ring quilt.

There is nothing precise for all the squaring you do.

It is a more modern look as the corner stones are square not angled.

Another one goes to the longarmer!!
