Storm at Sea

The storm is over.....

I have been eyeing up the this pattern for a long  time

So when I saw the class offered at Houston I was not passing that up!!

John Flynn taught tips and tricks to constructing his laser cut kit

I managed to get the blocks together but had to finish at home

I don't have a design wall so I made a design door with a piece of batting

It looks like it's already sewn together!!

I kept it pretty scrappy....

Rolled it up and went to the machine...

I sewed the columns together keeping them connected..

Then sewed down the rows.

You'll be so proud of me, Tracey!!!

I pinned...there was no choice as there are so many points!!

It finished at 22"x30"

I think it's destined to be a bag....
