Christmas presents

I purchased the shortcut sheets for fast ways
to do things like
flying geese and hunter star block

They were purchased at www.kitsbycarla.com

Finally got a chance to try them....

I need some flying geese for my 'presents'

I started with the strips it calls for sewing them together ...

It suggests you press seams open

These are cut into strips and resewn staggered

Then you cut them apart in strips

And the strips into individual geese

It made quite a stack of geese!

Which are now my bows on these presents

I used up all the little Sweetwater scraps off my cutting table

Even quilted up this table mat and gifted it on the weekend!!

I need to try this method again before I can fully give a review!

It was a totally different way of do flying geese

and

they were very straight since they were all sewn in strips.

Always some thing new out there!
