The Fabric of MY Life

2016

Another fabulous year of 'LIVING'!!

I met all my goals...

I didn't have any!!

I think life is for living so take every opportunity
and
Enjoy every moment!!

The year started with happy times.....
a brand new grandson, Braydon

Sad times with the loss of Arnold's dad, Roger

A whole lot of adventures...

A cruise in the Carribean

Pretty sure that's why I love blue so much!!

A summer vacation to Osoyoos, BC spent with our second family

Family reunion at Ghost Town Blues in Maple Creek,Sk

A week at the Artisan cabins in Kenosee,Sk

A weekend in Deadwood,South Dakota

Houston Quilt Market and Festival in November

Calving season was blessed with a warm winter

There were two litters of pigs

 A litter of puppies

The heat was on this summer...

The baler burned up...

Justin's farm nearly burned down...

(Thanks to all the family and neighbours who came to the rescue!)

As I looked back on this past year,

I was amazed at all the quilting I did.... in between 'living'

Our quilt show was very memorable

Especially when you start it off with my very first quilt
(or what's left of it)

I was so sure Irene Roy could restore it
(just kidding, Irene..I wouldn't do that to you!!)

My only regret for the year was that we did not video our show.

It was sooooo good!!

Thank you to all who danced in and out of our lives in 2016

I hope our stitches cross somewhere in the New Year!!!

Thank you for reading!!

I hope you enjoyed and were inspired to live a little more!!

Cheers
