NYC....Get a drink...your going to need it!!

So much to see... and so little time...

But we made great use of every hot and sticky moment!!!

Nothing like having the world on your shoulders....

One Rockefeller Plaza...

I am not sure what is up with the 'One' as all the important places start with that ...
must be in case they ever do TWO!

Wall Street ...

what exactly are those guys doing at the BACK of the bull???

Obviously never been kicked in the head!!

The Cake Boss Café...just looked!!

and did the tourist thing...photo op!!

Christa, Michaela, Kate, Tannis
Miles of walking on Fifth Ave.....

Grand Central Station....

The US Post Office....

How would you like to work here, Tracey??

Four city blocks!!

Staten Island Ferry...

Doesn't this just scream....Titanic....

Duct tape and in the roof of the ferry

I always thought the Statue of Liberty was larger but in scale of this sail boat....

Times Square......

So much hussle and bussle in this part of town...

Can you imagine painting yourself like this everyday?

Or how about this??

Yup.. she is naked.... I guess if you've got it.... flaunt it!!

The only money I would make would be from.......

the people paying me to put my clothes back on!!!

The TKTS Red stairs...

You sit here to wait to buy cheaper Broadway tickets in Times Square.

Double Decker bus tours.....

Closest thing to Yankee Stadium....

Radio City Music Hall....

Even The Metropolitian Museum had great fabric!!

The rows of Brownstones......

Doesn't this just say...Seasame Street??

Someone moved 'Oscar'!!

Amazing.........

Incredible......

Churches.......

We even ate at John's Pizza which was in a church...

This was the roof in John's and the pizza was a miracle!!!

We always made sure there was the Blue A in the window before we ate anywhere!!

Clothes for People......

And matching outfits for their dogs......

So you can take your dog to the cement park!!

Grass is a premium!!!

Empire State Building....

One World Trade Center on Ground Zero...

The first of 3 buildings to be built here

The Flatiron District...

This is for Shelby's friend, Margaret!!

She is always wearing colorful shoes from this store!!

My favorite was the Garment District....

Great Buttons has been running for many years.

They make buttons for Broadway Shows.

They are not kidding when they say every button tells a story!!

Hyman Hendler&Sons

....est.1900

There were ribbons galore!!

A work of art in ribbon....

I have subscribed to M&J Trimming for a year now but never dreamed I would ever get to the store!!

Kate came with me and she was even impressed!!

Where to begin.....

While stopping for a pic of the Statue...

We stumbled upon Tohoshoji - a Chinese bead store

I found some beautiful beads for my Crabapple Hills Snowflakes in this store

Then it was a cab ride over to The City Quilter....

Where the lady was kind enough to explain the subway to me on the fat quarter of fabric with the map on it!!

Just had to buy that!!

Lots of beautiful quilts...

One of our vendors at the show had this kit which I wish I had purchased!!

No wonder I was so drawn to this one...Memories!!

May have to order it from her this week!!

Over to Grennwich Village and Soho.....

Purl Soho - full of fabric and yarn

Tons of inspiration....

We made sure to keep our strength up by eating some amazing food...

Le Pain was my favorite!!

Artisan breads....

and Mint Lemonade...

Going to have to perfect this drink this summer!!

and a few treats in the streets...

Kate and I couldn't resist!!

These really are BITE size!!

The size of a toonie!!

PB&J, Red velvet, Chocomint was the top row

I remember every 'DELIC' bite!!

Carriage rides when we were too tired to walk anymore!

Kate and Christa

Our driver, Marcus and his horse Muffin were such a hoot!!

Tannis and Michaela
We missed half of the park because we were laughing so hard with Marcus!

It was 39C and this -5 Minus Ice Bar was being built in our hotel

The ice was imported from Canada!!

No wonder the world thinks we live in igloos!!

And who can resist some cute outfits for the new grandbaby on it's way!!

Hope you enjoyed the ride!!

Stay cool...supposed to be 34C today!

Christa
