First Scrap Squad Quilt

Today is the big reveal for my first Scrap Squad Quilt for Quiltmaker Magazine.

QMMP 130400 cover 500 QM Scrap Squad: Christa Marcottes Majestic Garden

Our first challenge was a quilt by Monique Dillard of Open Gate Quilts.

Head over to Quiltmaker's Blog
or
click on the Scrap Squad link at the top and have a look.

Every Friday, a new rendition of the SS quilt will be revealed on Quilty Pleasures Blog.

Each Scrap Squad member will tell their story behind their creation.

I apologize for the blurry pics...I will have to look into that!!

Enjoy!!

  1. What I really like about your quilt is the way that you chose to finish it. From the dark brown triangles right through to the final border. I think that it is perfectly framed. Way to go!

  2. I really like how this turned out, and your quilter is wonderful! I especially like how the lights and darks in the horse fabric give it a glow. The on-point setting is great. It's nice to see the finished project!

  3. I like your finished blues and browns. Looks good.

Nice to find another quilter-farmer. I'm horrible at blogging, but need to get back at it.
