Spring is definitely in the air...
Only one more day of seeding left
AND
the plum trees are just starting to bloom!!
With the rain on Sunday, I was able to get back to my Texas Star quilt.
Seems like a long time since I picked out the charm squares...
Went into flying geese mode...
Rode the pineapple express train...
and sent it off to Terry Whitman to get it quilted.
Kind of ironic that she gave it back to me just before she headed down to Texas for a week!!
I asked for some linear design as it is a lot of triangles.
I think she did an amazing job with all the echoing!!
Another spectacular job by my favorite longarmer!!
I am in love with Suzie's magic binding technique!!
It makes a faux flange and is a fast and easy way to machine bind your quilt.
I used paisley wideback for this quilt.
And I even got my label on!!
Sometimes miracles do happen!!!

I LOVE THIS QUILT!!! Happy seeding and see you soon.
ReplyDeleteLove your quilt! You did it up pretty fast.
ReplyDeleteAn amazing work of art by both Krista and Terry. I love this quilt!
ReplyDeletePerfection! (It's hard to see because it's so small but I like yours better than the one on the pattern). We are going to have a great quilt show with all the beautiful things everyone has been making.
ReplyDeleteCould you please drop off some of your energy at my house! You finish the most amazing things. Love the quilt.
ReplyDeleteI am running a little low on that 'energy' the last few days but if I did have extra...I would gladly share!! How's that bus coming along? Need any help with that?
DeleteBeautiful quilt and wonderful quilting. I'd like to learn that binding technique.
ReplyDeleteIf you click on the blue "Susie magic binding" words up above it will take you to a tutorial on how easy it really is!! Otherwise I will be sure to show you one day!!
DeleteI'm going to make contact with the bus company tomorrow and, then if a bus is possible, I'll contact Justin to get ideas about lunch prices.
