I have been wanting to make
a cathedral ceiling window quilt for awhile now....
( I can't get it through my head...it's a window!!)
I tried a few different methods and settled on a folding technique
I found online to make my 10" sample
So after a small break to eat a treat DELIVERED to my sewing room....
I hit my bundle of Paris Flea Market FQ pack!!
I like the direction this is going....
These windows are finishing at 5" corner to corner.....
It's a great way to stay warm on such frigid days!!

This is looking great!! You should do a tutorial....hmmmmmmmmm????
ReplyDeleteThanks, Marjorie! I will be sure to get something together!
DeleteThat quilt is going to be beautiful! I hope you show it to us when it is finished. Your treat looks delicious too.

Thanks Patrice! I am really liking where this one is going! I think I might even try to write a pattern for this one!! I'll be sure to show the finished project!!
ReplyDeleteI didn't know you could make one on the sewing machine. I have only seen them hand sewn. I will have to look into this. Your choice of fabrics looks very Springy! I am so ready for Spring to arrive.
ReplyDeleteYou special delivery looks delicious. Do you think a delivery could be made down here?
Love reading about all you do.
Holy Hannah that quilt is Beee-uuuu-t-ee-ful! Colleen is gonna love that! And Arnold is so thoughtful! ;-)
ReplyDeleteBy the way, Lone Survivor was so so so good. Go see it.
Your cathedral window quilt is so, so pretty. I think I'd be willing to give it a try - but only table topper size. I agree with previous comments, a machine finished tutuorial would be good.
ReplyDeleteTracey is right - I do love it.
