8 Months into 2025!
Just wow....
I like to keep track of what I made each year.
These are 2024 Quilts...
Mexican Star quilt was a fun day
in
Crosby, North Dakota
with
Tamara of Pleasant Pheasant Fabrics
This was mini version a BOHO Heart QAL with the Regina Guild
Can't go wrong with some Tim Holtz fabric
and
Monda bag....
or two!
My entry for 2024 Poppies Cherrywood Challenge
(that did not make the cut)
My version of Winter Star by Zen Chic
I think I will make it a table center piece for my round table.
I had a few blocks left from my Tilda Tractor quilt
I made a little wall hanging with them
I wanted to try my hand at a Legit Kits Quilt
Of course it had to be an farm animal
and
I wanted it to by in my own fabrics.
I use scraps of blue and TIM HOLTZ fabrics
(my fav, if you haven't gathered that)

My friend, Heather recently moved from the farm.
She was really missing her donkey and asked it I would make her one.
This is how she finished off her 'Lucy'
At first I was feeling like this pattern was intense
but
then I had to remind myself I was making two at the same time.
My niece had a baby and loved the farm.

This quilt was lost in the Canada Post Strike for 3 months.
It was posted as delivered in October but know knew where it was.
It magically appeared on Christmas eve.
There is still miracles out there.
This line of fabric is called Fluidity.
The colors are incredible.
Just a simple pattern to show the beauty of the fabric!
I taught a few classes on the mini version of Avairy by Madi Hastings
We used the Fluidity Wideback to get a beautiful gradation of color
Played with some Mosaic Bundle by Billy Reue

Loved it in a few medallions of Dresdens.

Alchemy Bundle by Tim Holtz was just screaming to be a color wheel quilt

I started with this center block from Moda Block Heads 5
These are a series of free patterns by designers of Moda Fabrics
Here's the link.....
The surrounding stars were from Powered by Quiliting
The pattern is a PDF and called Transparent Stars
Antelope Canyon....
4 huge log cabin blocks with a great road map of cutting and construction instructions.
My son, Justin gave me a jellyroll for Christmas
and
this was the perfect pattern to showcase those colors.
I wanted it to be a two sided quilt so I used Vitamin Sea Wideback.
This backing sold out in minutes.
It is absolutely gorgeous.
BQ 2 by Maple Island Quilts
I was lucky enough to visit Cherrywood Fabrics in Brainard, Minnesota last year.
Very cool color wheel.
My favorite kimono is starting to see better days.
This was a wideback by Kaffe Fassett for Free Spirit.
So silky and comfy.
Free Spirit Fabrics makes some of the softest cotton widebacks.
My girlfriend has loved this next pattern designer for years.
I finally gave one of her patterns a try.
I love quilts on point.
Quiet Grace by Kim Diehl
I needed a new bag so I winged it with some of Tim Holtz's new Canvas Prints
I finally got to quilting my Color Your World
This was a quiltalong on The Quilt Show
Pattern is by Wendy Williams of The Flying Fish Designs.
Last but not least....
This gorgeous panel by Northcott Fabrics did not need much to enhance it.

Some delectable mountains for the border
and
Voila!
Hope you enjoyed a little inspiration!
