Quilts of 2025

I always like to journal my quilts for each year.

These are the ones I managed to finish in 2025

Oh Canada is a pattern I found at my first Quiltcon in January, 2025

It is a combination of Exploding Hearts by Slice of Pi Quilts

And speaking of hearts, I used my scraps of black, white and reds
on this quilt by Libs Elliott called La Fin du Monde

Libs Elliot is a Canadian Quilter and designer!

This next project was a book panel by Northcott Fabrics
called

The selvage was so cute I had to incorporate it into a handle for the book!

The panel of little animals made the perfect baby quilt!

With the yardage of this line, I made a Midi Mondo bag

This tote bag was another panel project by Northcott Fabrics

I took a class from Timna Tarr a few years ago
 and
loved her technique to collage quilts.

This year Timna came out with her own line!

Could not resist making Neighborhood Association

We sold out of these kits in a heart beat!

Fox den was another Northcott Line we bundled up!

Made it a double sided quilt with this gorgeous wideback!

These Flannels were so buttery soft I could not resist making something with it.

They are called Urban Oasis.

I was asked to do a commission quilt.

I was hesitant since I had a knee replacement on October 7, 2025

The customer said she would wait but I managed to get it done in time for Christmas

It was a rendition of the ticket stub for Taylor Swifts Eras Tour
and
a free paper pieced pattern by www.tatotjip.com

It was pretty detailed and I love how it turned out!

Whipped up this easy peasy Great Outdoors panels just for a wall hanging!

I really need to take some time and make one more like this!!

Out of the Woodwork is a bear panel and fabric bundle by Funny Girl Designs.

These digital designs are so gorgeous these days.

The prints are so realistic

Our oldest son turned 40 this year and he is a hunter.

This was his birthday gift!

I used the Trophy Buck pattern by Hobbs Designs

I used an ombre wideback to get the glowing effect behind him!

I love the colors in Mosaic by Billy Reue for Free Sprit Fabrics

This tote is by Aunties Two Patterns called Camden Bag

This quilt also used Billy Reue's Mosaic Fabric,

Another one of my Quiltcon Purchases was this pattern
called
Tripping Out by Sew Kind of Wonderful

Tula Pink had reviewed how well the ruler made half square retangles

She was right!

Bonnie on Wheels was closing out last winter in Yuma, Arizona

Who could resist a laser cut kit like this old truck when it's on sale!

I entered CherryWood Challenge for thee 8th time.

The theme was The Abyss using only these fabrics.

He made the cut....7 out of 8 years...

not bad if I don't say so myself...

Who knew I had it in me?!?!

This angle fish was chosen to swim around the quilting world for the next year..

It started it debut in Houston at International Quilt Festival....
without me!!!

Another bag panel by Northcott Fabrics

The Deep Blue

A little dresden plate fun on a bag

Writing on the Wall is a bundle of fabrics

black on white and white on blacks.

I am such a sucker for fonts AND black and whites

I found a picture of a zebra on pinterest a
and
had a local printer make it bigger!

It is just raw edge fusible...pretty easy!

I love to incorporate selvage when ever I can so zoom in and check out his neck!

This was a line of fabric by Northcott as well.

I love my friend, Tamara who owns Pleasant Pheasant Fabrics in Crosby, North Dakota.

She did not know what to do with it
so
I made her a mini feather using the Aviary pattern by Madi Hastings.

I had reduce the size by half!

This is called Cowboy Culture by Northcott as well.

Border Creek Station was doing another quilt along
so
I used the small blocks of last years QAL
incorporating them with the panel of western blocks.

This mighty Elephant was another SALE pattern at Bonnies on Wheels.

Elephant Abstractions by Violet Craft

The girls at the shop challenged me to finish it before coming home last February.

They were shocked how I gathered sale purples having no idea of placement
and
managed to pull it off!

I actually reduced the size of this pattern
 and
plan to make a second mini version of the same one...

someday....

Charisma Horton of Pink Door Quilts had this cute pattern

I used the b/w from Writing on the wall for the chickens
and
some stonehenge gradations for the mountains

I always say...let the fabric do the work!

I love the things you can create in Instagram.

Looks like my quilt hit the front page!

This next line barely hit the shelves before being sold out.

It was called Dragonfly Dance by Northcott.

It was gorgeous!

But don't despair......

They always make more beautiful fabrics i have to have!

Thanks for tagging along!

Hope you found some inspiration...
