Bear Creek Row Robin

When I saw this invite on Bear Creek Quilting Co..

I jumped at the chance to participate in a row robin...

Our rows will be travelling all around the United States
and
one stop in Canada...My HOUSE!!!

getting an addition of one row at each stop.

Each row will be approx. 9"x52"

I have decided to go 'Halloween'!!

This fabric have been in my stash for some years now...

I think it's time to get this party started!!

Can't wait to see how my quilt grows in the next couple of months!!

Shari at Bear Creek Quilting Co. is heading up this adventure.

She made a label for each of our quilts so each person can sign it....

There is also a journal that travels with your quilt to document the making of each row!!

I am going to include a little 'something ' in my box for each quilter

 as

a THANK YOU for their contribution to my quilt

Using my handy Block Tool, I decided to go with 4" pin wheels....

This is my row for this project

These quilts are going to get some air miles!!

The Race Is On!

It's Swathing Time!

Swathing Barley

It is an average crop but better than NO crop like last year!

Justin's Gladiolas are in full bloom and being used at the local floral shop.

My sister, Tannis and her daughters came for a quick visit from Calgary, Alberta.

We did get away to Minot, ND yesterday....

Forgot the  passports

BUT

the US Border Agents were kind enough to let us through with just i.d..

I made a quick stop at Prairie Rose Quilt Shop where I DID NOT need to purchase the following items.

But could not resist...

Thought I would make an Ipad case with this pattern.

I have tried Atkinson Designs before and was not impressed
 but
will give it another try.....last chance!

Who can resist some bright Halloween prints with some deep black!

On the Winter Wonderland front....

Snow Angel is nearly complete.

With all the combining dust in the air, the sunsets have been amazing.

These pinks and purples are so stunning.

But it also means the days are getting shorter.

So it's back to 'reel' time for me today.

Thanks for swathing for me, Justin!!

Greatly appreciated!!
