I have narrowed my direction down to this box of fabric...
With a little fussy cutting
My pieces were ready for Month 2
It called for 'your favorite applique method'
I am going with fusible backing and top stitching on this one
The two components were sewn together to make.....
yet....
another circle!!
To be attached to this circle...
This involved another pinning session....
To create this little number...
On to Month 3 in only a couple of weeks...
We keep checking the crops but they are just not drying!!!
Might as well be sewing!!
You are zipping along on this. I love your fabric choices.
ReplyDeleteSuch a lot of work! It looks fabulous.
ReplyDeleteOH Christa that is BEAUTIFUL! Let the crops keep drying and you keep sewing. I am loving watching this come together.
ReplyDeleteOur crops are behind too. I think summer really just arrived last week, in the 90's and high, high, high humidity. Hoping for better weather this week. It always heats up when school starts.
I spent the past week in San Fran and then onto Colorado. Weather was delightful both places. Very nice refreshing vacation.
Oh my goodness, another gorgeously pieced quilt with color choices that are working to increase it's visual interest. The Canadian Quilt Assoc. is having their convention in Lethbridge next year. It would be very cool to have one of your quilts in the National Juried Show ,as well as one of mine : )
