Aaahh... The Sounds of a Dryer.....

Can you believe it's June today??

Just racing through another year
and
speaking of speeding..

There were races at Estevan Motor Speedway last night..

It started off as a gorgeous night....

This man was sitting in front of me.

My son, Justin sells equipment for E Bourassa.

I sent him a pic to see if he knew this man.

Justin said he did not recognize the ears.

Come on, Justin....

Justin started texting us that we had 2 hours before a major storm was going to hit.

He was right....

We were ordered out of the stands and told to take cover!!

The lightening was crazy and the winds were high.

2 inches of rain later!!

Sad to report that a friend's tractor and airseeder

burned after being struck by lightening last night.

With all this rain,

he was probably done seeding anyways.

But on a good note...

We will be able to kayak for a few more weeks now with all this rain.

On an even better note...

I am enjoying the sounds of clothes drying in the new dryer!!!

Only had to wait 54 days for Sears to deal with it.

I am WAAY to patient...but lost it on the guy on Friday!!

Dealt with on Saturday!!

I think I deserve some time with my second weekender bag...

Going stitching..

This one is for Brenda...

Brenda wanted to move to Torquay

as she thinks there are 36 hours in a Torquay day!!

She can't believe how much our group gets done all the time...

Multitasking is the key BUT I don't recommend it...

then
hang clothes since I have had NO DRYER for 6 WEEKS NOW!!!

(I am reeeeaalllly starting to hate SEARS!!! Whole other post...)

1:00pm

2:00
Head back to the field, fill discers again, change fields and take Justin's place

3:00

Chicken legs!!!

Text Justin to go check...Power went out...oven shut off...

Justin makes them into a delectable teriyaki supper....

Saves the legs(and the day)!!

6:00
Justin comes back to take my place.

Eat, shower amd head to opening car races

At Estevan Motor Speedway....

Season ticket holders don't miss a race!!

12:00am

Hit the hay!!

No problem sleeping in my world!!
(I just can't sleep IN,Tracey!!)

A freind said his wife had trouble sleeping at night....

I said you are not working her hard enough!!

For added bonus to my day....

I filled the graintruck with gas,

later to discover I had left the ONLY key to the gas tank on the running board

It travelled 20 dusty, bumpy miles
and
thank my lucky stars.... it was still there!!

I had visions of side grinders and explosions to get that lock off!!

It definitely takes a village to keep this life on the path!!

It's a new day....let the adventure begin!!
(or is it more like...No rest for the weary?)
