I came across this quilt hanging at the show in Houston
I was struck with the intricate work involved
I LOVED these horses!
Amazing use of doilies, thread painting and collage
It was made by Lorraine Turner.
Yesterday,
while binge Facebooking as I waited for Justin at hand therapy....
(Yup... it's been one year since he had a fight with a post pounder!
It's all good...nearly a full recovery!)
I came across this little video by Free Spirit
It was such an interesting watch that I am now looking into her Webinars
I love how the lion told her where her life will take her!
It made me giggle
and
respect her all in the same moment.
She works through the animals that speak to her.
They have set her on a path of a creative and inspired life
as
she now is working with Free Spirit Fabrics.
I know I have followed my little 'whispers'
that
have changed my life in many good ways.
She is a brave woman to be so candid about her life
and
where it has gotten her,
