Oh Little Town of Torquay

In case you didn't know....

There is an amazing group of quilters
in
the town of Torquay, Saskatchewan.

We are called The Block Party Quilters.

There are only 8-10 of us.

We are PROLIFIC quilters.

When we have been on our travels,

people often ask us
 'Are you the Torquay Quilters??'

Apparently we have a reputation....

Hopefully it's a good one!! lol

We have hosted a few quilt shows that would knock your socks off.

Quilters come from far and wide to be part of our tea party

Yup.... real tea cups.

Everyone dresses up and wears their best hats

To hear the stories behind our quilts

Not your Grandma's kind of quilts.

We travelled a lot before Covid.

Chicago, Houston, Montana and North Dakota regularly

Even went to BALI!!

24 friends who all quilted... can you imagine??

We had another great show planned for 2020...

Maybe next year.

But enough about us.....
